1. The private pilot
Quorum is an in-development, invitation-only book-club service. By using a pilot build, you agree to these terms and the Community Standards. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts and access
Use only your own Apple or Google sign-in and keep access to your device and provider account secure. Do not share an invitation, code, session, or other access capability with anyone who was not invited. Quorum may suspend access to protect a club, a reader, or the service.
3. Your notes
You keep ownership of the text you write. You give Quorum the limited permission needed to store, process, and show a published note to eligible members of your private club and to maintain the shared reading record. You are responsible for having the right to post what you submit.
Do not post long copyrighted passages, private information, unlawful material, or content prohibited by the Community Standards. The pilot may remove content or access when necessary to enforce these rules.
4. Spoiler boundaries
The pilot uses exact pages in one shared physical edition. Record your page honestly. The spoiler boundary is designed to withhold another member’s note text until you reach the accepted note page, but software, configuration, and human mistakes can occur. Do not use Quorum as the only copy of writing you cannot replace.
5. Acceptable use
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit, deceive, spam, probe, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to bypass authentication, club membership, spoiler controls, or another reader’s privacy. Do not use the service for illegal activity or to harm another person.
6. Changes and availability
Pilot features may change, pause, or end as the product is tested. Quorum may fix errors, change an unsupported workflow, or withdraw a build. A public launch, Android release, particular feature, or uninterrupted service is not promised by these terms.
7. Leaving Quorum
You may stop using the pilot at any time. When the reviewed account deletion control is active, you may initiate deletion in the app; the public request path remains available at Account deletion. Deletion must not erase another reader’s account or the club’s shared read.
8. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the private pilot is provided “as is” and without a guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. App-store terms
If Quorum is later downloaded through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a valid custom agreement is supplied through App Store Connect. This webpage does not replace that agreement or make Apple responsible for Quorum.
10. Changes and contact
Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Questions can be sent to support@lukerykta.io.
